Mist Yew 03:15
I miss you more than anything You've faded like the mist of morning Miss you more than shapes in fog Miss you more than dewdrops after sunrise Will you please come back to me? I miss you more than anything You've faded like the light of dusk Miss you more than stars in day Miss you more than shadows in the dark Will you please come back to me? I miss you more than anything I've fallen far like the arils of the yew Miss you more than green in fall Miss you more than bloom in the winter Would you please be here to stay?

Dream River 02:12
I see your face beneath dream river The current's calm but mist is rising I lie asleep but sun is shining I'll meet you there to see your face in Dream river Stream subconscious Dream river Stream subconscious Seemed forever Suspended moments Lived once but never again I saw your face beneath dream river But morning's cold and mist surrounds me I lie awake but dark is lasting I only wish to fall asleep for Dream river Stream subconscious Dream river Stream subconscious Seemed forever Suspended moments Lived once but never again I'll walk my way Upstream to find you Been carried away By my memories Some day I believe I will find you Down by the shore of Dream River Dream River Dream River Dream River

Feels like my world has gone silent When your symphony stopped playing song Broken like a Caesura stops A song from reaching its cadence But you can't silence the melody That moves on within my mind You can't silence the harmony That hums inside my heart You can't silence the song That sings inside my soul You can't silence the lullaby That lives on through my love Just cause the music has stopped Doesn't mean that the song has ended That's just cause Caesuras are never placed At the end of a song So you can't silence the melody That moves on within my mind You can't silence the harmony That hums inside my heart You can't silence the song That sings inside my soul You can't silence the leitmotif That lives on through my love Take a moment and listen to The vibrato coursing through my veins Listen to the rhythm of My heart that beats with your pulse You can't silence the melody That moves on within my mind You can't silence the harmony That hums inside my heart You can't silence the song That sings inside my soul You can't silence the music That lives on through my love

Cay Teal 05:00
Can't help but Say that you Make me Feel Teal like the Color of ocean Around the Cay I dove down into Deep waters But feels like just The shallow end now Waves have come To wash away Everything that's past Why is everything Teal past the shore The skies and the seas Are all shades of teal Can't help but Say that you Made me Feel Teal like the Color of ocean Around the Cay

Two little raindrops Falling from the sky Lost in the wind and storm Nobody sees them Tossing through the breeze In just the blink of an eye Gravity's sinking me deeper Making me think If only I could reverse the rain If only I could rewind the storm Then maybe I could turn back time And see the sun again Two little raindrops Falling to the sea One with the ocean that churns Nobody finds them Drowning in the riptide Going far far away from here Gravity's sinking me deeper Making me think If only I could reverse the rain If only I could rewind the storm Then maybe I could turn back time And see the sun again I've found that there's no point in wishing for the sun Guess I'll just learn how To dance in the rain Nobody told me The storm would last so long But I've heard that rainbows Would follow once it's gone Let's forget about our past rainfalls Let's go back to the start where everything began I wanna run down the trail Beside the swinging tree I wanna stand on the bridge Above the stream of lights And watch the sky turn Blue to crimson with you Night to morning with you Rain to sunshine with you Soon

about

Every song I heard reminded me of the day the symphony stopped playing.

Songs of hope and loss featuring Vocals, Piano, Vibraphone, Drums, Bass Guitar, and Melodica.

I would ask an old friend of mine to tell me a key, and I would write a song in that key. That's how this began. I am not a singer but I wanted to try expressing the thoughts in my mind.

Began recording on November 23, 2019, completed on January 1, 2020.

Cover art illustration completed on February 12, 2020.
